These Terms govern residential cleaning services provided by Sweep Life Cleaning LLC (“Sweep Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling, approving, or receiving a service, the customer (“you” or “your”) agrees to these Terms.
1. Services and booking information
Your booking confirmation identifies the selected service, property information, frequency, add-ons, estimated price, and scheduled arrival time. You must provide accurate information about the property, access, pets, parking, and known hazards. If the condition, size, or requested scope differs materially, we may pause work and contact you. We will not increase the price for additional work without your approval, except for fees disclosed in these Terms or during booking.
2. Card on file and payment authorization
A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve and maintain service. Payments are processed through Stripe, and Sweep Life does not receive or store your complete card number.
- Approximately one day before the appointment, a temporary authorization hold may be placed for the full scheduled amount. A hold is not the final charge.
- If authorization fails, the booking may remain scheduled while we contact you, but we may delay or cancel service unless a valid method is provided.
- After completion, Sweep Life will manually capture or charge the card on file, generally by the end of the service day.
- You authorize charges for completed service, approved additions, applicable taxes, authorized tips, and disclosed cancellation, rescheduling, same-day, or no-access fees.
If payment is declined after service, you agree to provide a valid method promptly. Unpaid balances may result in suspension of future service and reasonable collection costs allowed by law.
3. Cancellation, rescheduling, and no access
You may cancel or reschedule without a fee until 6:00 PM Central Time on the day before the cleaning. A $50 fee may apply after that cutoff. The same fee may apply if we cannot access the property because of a missing key or code, locked door, unrestrained pet, unavailable utilities, undisclosed unsafe condition, or another customer-caused access problem. A disclosed $50 expedited-service fee may apply to same-day bookings.
4. Recurring services
Recurring rates may be discounted based on frequency. Cancellation of one appointment does not automatically cancel the recurring plan. If a discounted first recurring cleaning is followed by cancellation before a second recurring cleaning is completed, Sweep Life may charge the difference between the discounted rate and applicable one-time rate, up to $50, only when disclosed at booking.
5. Arrival windows and service duration
Scheduled times are estimates. Unless otherwise confirmed, allow an arrival window of up to two hours. Service durations are estimates. Flat-rate service is based on the booked scope; hourly service is limited to the time purchased and does not guarantee completion of every requested task.
6. Property access and preparation
You must provide current access instructions and ensure working electricity, running water, a reasonable indoor temperature, and safe access. Pick up excessive clutter and secure cash, jewelry, medications, important documents, firearms, sentimental items, and fragile possessions. Identify delicate surfaces, loose fixtures, pre-existing damage, specialty materials, or manufacturer-specific requirements before work begins.
7. Pets
Tell us about pets and secure any animal that may be anxious, aggressive, territorial, likely to escape, or likely to interfere. We may decline to enter or leave if an animal presents a safety concern. Except to the extent caused by our negligence, Sweep Life is not responsible for an unsecured pet escaping or being injured because a known risk was not disclosed or managed.
8. Supplies and customer-provided products
Our cleaning professionals generally provide standard supplies and equipment. We may refuse customer-provided products or equipment that are unlabeled, damaged, unsafe, or unsuitable. Except to the extent caused by our negligence, we are not responsible for failure or pre-existing damage to customer-provided equipment.
9. Service limitations and unsafe conditions
Unless expressly agreed, our standard services exclude biohazards, bodily waste, drug paraphernalia, mold remediation, hazardous chemicals, pest infestations, hoarding conditions, construction hazards, large-scale trash removal, moving heavy furniture or appliances, ladders above three steps, inaccessible areas, floor refinishing, upholstery or carpet extraction, full wall washing, and wet wiping of electrical fixtures. We may refuse, pause, or terminate work that is unsafe, illegal, abusive, materially different from what was disclosed, or outside the booked scope.
10. Changes and additional work
Submit changes by 5:00 PM Central Time on the day before service whenever possible. Cleaning professionals cannot approve price changes or unpaid additions. If unexpected conditions require more time, we will contact you to approve a revised price or time, or to set priorities within the original booking.
11. Satisfaction guarantee
Report a missed area within 24 hours after completion and provide photographs when reasonably possible. After review, we may return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. The guarantee covers the original booked scope and excludes new messes, permanent stains, ordinary wear, excessive buildup, areas outside the booking, and hourly work that could not be completed within the purchased time. A re-clean is the primary remedy; refunds are not automatic.
12. Damage and breakage
Report suspected damage within 24 hours and preserve the item and area for review. When Sweep Life is responsible for direct physical damage, responsibility is limited to reasonable repair or replacement based on current condition and fair value. We are not responsible for ordinary wear, pre-existing damage, latent defects, improper installation, unstable items, manufacturer defects, or damage caused by inaccurate instructions or unsuitable customer products. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.
13. Cleaner assignment and conduct
We may assign or reassign a cleaner or team based on availability, quality, safety, routing, or staffing needs. We cannot guarantee the same cleaner for every appointment. Customers must maintain a workplace free from harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe conduct, and undisclosed weapons.
14. Non-solicitation
During service and for 12 months after the most recent Sweep Life appointment, the customer agrees not to knowingly hire or contract directly with a cleaner introduced through Sweep Life for substantially similar cleaning services outside Sweep Life. A violation may result in a $2,000 placement fee as a reasonable estimate of recruiting, screening, onboarding, training, and lost-business costs, not as a penalty. This does not prevent a person from responding independently to a general public job posting not directed to that person.
15. Communications and privacy
You consent to service-related calls, emails, and texts concerning bookings, access, scheduling, payment, and support. Marketing consent is separate and is not required to purchase service. Message and data rates may apply. We may take photographs to document condition, completed work, safety concerns, or reported issues, but will not use identifiable photographs publicly without permission. See our Privacy Policy.
16. Refusal, suspension, and termination
Either party may end future service. Sweep Life may refuse, suspend, or terminate service for nonpayment, repeated late cancellations, unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, material misrepresentation, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms. Termination does not eliminate amounts owed for completed services or properly assessed fees.
17. Events beyond reasonable control
Sweep Life is not responsible for delay or failure caused by severe weather, road closures, utility outages, emergencies, illness, government action, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate and reschedule.
18. Disputes and governing law
Before filing a legal claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days after written notice. Either party may still pursue an eligible small-claims action. These Terms are governed by Texas law, and, to the extent permitted, court proceedings must be brought in a court serving Collin County, Texas.
19. General provisions
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining Terms will continue. These Terms, the booking confirmation, and written service-specific terms constitute the service agreement. We may update these Terms prospectively; the version presented or linked when the appointment is booked applies unless you expressly agree to a later version.
